Kansas reclaimed the No. 1 spot in Monday's Associated Press Top 25 poll, which saw the top five rearranged.

The Jayhawks (24-3) jumped two spots after defeating previous No. 1 Baylor on Saturday. The Bears (24-2), who had been No. 1 since Jan. 20, dropped to No. 2.

Kansas, which previously held the top spot on Dec. 16, gained 62 of the 64 first-place votes.

Gonzaga (27-2) fell one place to No. 3 after a loss to BYU, and Dayton (25-2) and San Diego State (26-1) flip-flopped the Nos. 4 and 5 spots. The Aztecs lost their first game of the season on Saturday to UNLV.

Rounding out the top 10 were Florida State (23-4), Duke (23-4), Kentucky (22-5), Maryland (22-5) and Creighton (22-6). The Bluejays climbed five spots to No. 10.

Penn State (20-7), No. 9 last week, plummeted to No. 16 after losses to Illinois and Indiana. BYU (23-7) moved up six places to No. 17 after its 91-78 home win over Gonzaga, which lost for the first time in 41 West Coast Conference games.

Moving back into the Top 25 were No. 19 Michigan (18-9), No. 22 Texas Tech (18-9) and No. 24 Michigan State (18-9). The Spartans entered the season ranked No. 1.

Dropping out of the Top 25 were Arizona, Butler and Marquette.
