The Ravens suffered their third consecutive loss, falling to the Texans, 44-10, at M&T Bank Stadium.

It's tied for Baltimore's most lopsided loss at home in team history, tying a 34-point loss to the Patriots in 2013.

Here's how it happened:

Turning Point

Coming out of halftime trailing 24-3, the Ravens were looking for a spark. But the Texans extinguished any hope of a comeback when Houston safety Jalen Pitre undercut Derrick Henry for an interception, one of Pitre's two takeaways of the day. The Texans proceeded to score three plays later to take a 28-point lead. Houston put its foot on the gas pedal from the opening snap and never stepped off the rest of the way, scoring on its first eight possessions.

Top Play

Baltimore's longest play of the day was a 56-yard completion from Cooper Rush to Zay Flowers. The chunk play helped set up the Ravens' lone touchdown of the afternoon, a Derrick Henry 1-yard touchdown run that tied him with Walter Payton for fifth-most all-time (110).

Defense

The Ravens' defense was missing a laundry list of Pro Bowlers on defense due to injury, and the unit felt their absence. Houston's 44 points were the most it has scored all year. C.J. Stroud had a near-flawless day, completing 23-of-27 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns, and recording the longest rush of his career on a 30-yard scamper in the second quarter. Baltimore was hoping to resurrect its defense against a struggling Houston offense averaging 16 points per game, but found itself giving up 35+ points for the fourth time this season.

Rushing Attack

Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken made it clear during the week that he wanted to see more success running the ball, setting up Henry for possibly his largest workload as a Raven yet. But for the fourth straight week, Henry was bottled up, gaining just 33 yards on 15 carries. As a team, the Ravens had just 44 yards rushing.

OLB Kyle Van Noy

Van Noy returned to the lineup after missing the previous two weeks and recorded his first sack of the season.
