Saints centerErik McCoybegan the season for the Saints as the team's starting center. He played in the first seven games and graded as the best pass blocking center in the league allowing zero sacks in 449 snapsaccording to Pro Football Focus. In the Saints Week 7 game against the Chicago Bears, McCoy sustained a biceps injury that would put him out of action for the remainder of the season, the second season in a row McCoy would be limited to six game.
